Which signs deserve a check?
Frequent bleeding, redness, swelling, sensitivity, persistent bad breath or a change around a tooth can justify an appointment. Pain is not always present.
These signs do not have a single cause. The check distinguishes a local irritation, an inflammation linked to deposits and other situations that need different care.
How are the gums examined?
The professional looks at the colour, the outline, the deposits and the bleeding. Certain areas around the teeth may be measured, and further examinations requested when they provide useful information.
They also check your hygiene routine and the factors that make some areas hard to clean. The explanation starts from what is really observed in your mouth.
How do the treatment and follow-up go?
The treatment may combine professional cleaning and a daily routine adapted to the areas concerned. Depending on the extent, several appointments or a check after the initial phase may be proposed.
The follow-up checks how the gums respond and adjusts the frequency of appointments. An improvement does not remove the need for daily care.
Do your gums bleed regularly?
The appointment is there to find the cause and suggest the right care.

The practice plans short videos to explain the main treatments. This one will be added once it has been filmed. [VIDEO TO BE CONFIRMED]
