Which fixed solutions can be studied?
A bridge can link several replacement teeth to natural teeth or to implants that serve as supports. The distribution depends on the length of the gap, the position of the supports and the chewing forces.
A fixed plan must also allow for cleaning. The dentist explains how to maintain the future prosthesis and checks that this maintenance is possible day to day.
When can a removable prosthesis be suitable?
A removable prosthesis can replace several teeth with an appliance that is taken out for cleaning. It can use the remaining teeth and the tissues as supports. Its design depends on their distribution.
It may be proposed when the fixed solution is not indicated or does not match the patient's priorities. Fit, stability and maintenance are discussed before it is made.
How is the plan established?
The dentist looks at the remaining teeth, the gums, the bone, the space available and the way your teeth meet. They tell you which treatments to do first, how the teeth will be replaced and how they will be followed afterwards.
If implants are considered, their number and position depend on the teeth to replace. You receive the explanations and the estimate before starting.

- Estimate and funding

- If the treatment follows an accident, it is reported to your accident insurance (LAA/UVG) or your health insurer. Mention it when booking, the team explains the declaration.
